I have a large format TV with wooden frame that I use to display favorite vacation scenes. This app works perfectly. With my Roko TV (Firestick attached) I was able to set this app us so that each day it’s a single button push to start the TV, Firestick and launch this app with my picture selection. Well done. I love it when technology actually works as designed.

pixFolio is a MUCH better screensaver than the default one that comes with the Fire products.
Why: The Fire Stick or Fire TV screensaver was limited to only 100 photos. No matter how many photos you upload to Amazon Photos – the Fire Stick screensaver will ONLY show @ 100 photos. I searched all over the net but nobody had a solution – Amzn customer service doesn’t even seem to know what the real viewing limit is or when it will be fixed – but it is a known problem.

I’m using a tablet as digital photo frame. After a long research, it is currently the ONLY app I’ve found capable of doing three tasks: displaying videos within the photo slideshow DIRECTLY from a free unlimited cloud storage platform AND autostart slideshow when the app starts. Excellent app. Wanted to make an auto-updating slide show with recent photos/videos from my Google photos account on an old tablet. Tried a few different apps, and this does the job in an elegant way, with some neat overlays (weather, clock, etc). Also easy to setup. Worth the few $ and highly recommendable if this is your goal.
